After a powerful first single " XXL " and a relaxing interlude with his track " Équerre ", CHEEKO opens up with " of " the third single from his upcoming EP "MIROIR PT. 1", set to release on March 25th.
Directed by MONSIEUR TOK and filmed in the vastness of Canada, dive into the clip for "Louve" alongside CHEEKO , exploring the abyss of nature and an ice sheet almost suffocating in its emptiness. The nearly ghostly presence embodied by the wolf serves as a reminder—a nearly omnipresent, strong, and wild memory. While in Ancient Rome the wolf symbolizes the image of Woman, for CHEEKO it carries a broader, more general meaning. The wolf represents the other, the past, the still-smoldering memory of love just extinguished.
Emptiness and absence—this is the essence of "Louve". CHEEKO sharpens his lyrics and offers more personal, incisive verses. The words are carefully chosen and subtly scattered. “If you’re looking for me, I’m probably too far from your arms, probably too close to vice,” raps CHEEKO, melancholic.
This same melancholia, which, without warning, strikes and stirs the deepest memories. CHEEKO takes us with him into an intimate turmoil.
