The Italian twins join Baco Booking to collaborate on their upcoming tours in France, Switzerland, and Belgium!
Their energetic "new roots" has propelled the band to the top of the international reggae scene. Formed in 2005, Mellow Mood has already produced 6 studio albums and 2 dub albums mixed by their producer Paolo Baldini. The first one, entitled " Move! " was an immediate success far beyond Italy, and they have continued to increase their fame ever since. Their live performances are always up to the expectations of the public and allowed them to be elected «Best Italian group» and 3rd «Best European group» by the Rototom Sunsplash Contest a few years ago. They have also collaborated with many artists from various origins (Kabaka Pyramid, Alborosie, Anthony B, Konshens, Richie Campbell, Jah9, Empress Sativa, Sir Wilson, Tanya Stephens, The Emeterians…), and international tours in venues and big festivals: Sierra Nevada World Music Festival (USA), Jamming Festival (Colombia), Siempre Vivo Reggae Festival (Chile), Eurockéennes de Belfort and Reggae Sun Ska (France), Rototom Plash and Vina Rock (Spain)…

Danakil has announced a new album entitled « DEMAIN PEUT-ÊTRE », to be released on Friday September 27, 2024! On their social networks, they unveil the album cover, based on a work by artist Mika Husser. The painting resonates with the title of the new opus. The character's eyes, unblinking, symbolize the difficulty of contemplating the future with serenity, the uncertainty that hangs over the future in these complicated times, but the desire, despite everything, still and always, to maintain hope and look forward.
As for the music, we've only got a few days to wait before you can discover the eponymous first single from this new project!
And a new album means a new tour, with over 30 shows across France, and as far afield as Switzerland and Belgium, to discover here, with a show at Paris Zénith on March 22, 2025 !
" LOL » or Laugh Out Loud is the first single of the acoustic album « Survival Vibration » of CLINTON FEARON. It's a real musical jewel with some warm ingredients: CLINTON FEARON's voice, his bass and acoustic guitar, plenty of percussions, and a thumb piano which make us smile. "From the moment of the end of the intro when the rhythm starts, I can't prevent me from feeling like dancing" shares the jamaican master about this song.

Yaniss Odua is back on the road next week for the last shows in venues for his tour « Stay High »
He was in residence with Artikal Band these last few days to get back on track and it's going to be hot! After a year 2022 rich in concerts, the French reggae legend is back for about twenty dates, before the festivals this summer.
This tour follows the release of his latest album “Stay High” (released on May 2022). If you haven't listened to this opus yet, it's time! 14 tracks, 14 reggae gems, but with a touch of musical adventure since Yaniss Odua has opened his music to other sounds, from hip-hop to Latin music. Numerous featurings with renowned artists : Danakil, Dub Inc, or Kalash will make you dance ! His Caribbean roots make their effect and transport us with vibes that only Yaniss has the secret.

From his hit " Who Knows " in 2014 with Chronixx , to his 2nd nomination to the Grammy Awards this year for his album " THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM » (after the nomination for the album « A MATTER OF TIME » en 2018), PROTOJE has risen to become a true reggae headliner.
In September 2022, PROTOJE released " THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM", his sixth studio album. After " A MATTER OF TIME " and " IN SEARCH OF LOST TIME", this album ends the trilogy about the notion of time. Each album reflects an emblematic period in PROTOJE's life, which led to new reflections and visions of the world, a personal and professional introspection, as a man, father and artist.

CLINTON FEARON will open the night with his band, "THE RIDDIM SOURCE"A singer, songwriter, and bassist of the legendary GLADIATORS, Clinton then embarked on an incredibly prolific solo career (with no fewer than 13 albums!), solidifying his place as a global reggae star.
His new album, « BREAKING NEWS » (released June 3, 2022), was written in just a few months during the COVID-19 pandemic. The album was entirely recorded with the French musicians of « THE RIDDIM SOURCE » who will be performing with him on stage. According to Clinton's own words, " the best band he’s ever played with! ".
The band DANAKIL is on the road again from this weekend, in super fettle after these few weeks of break!
2022 promises to be very busy one again, with already more than fifty tour dates planned throughout France, in venues and festivals from the spring. It’s with the greatest regret that we have to reschedule the upcoming March/April planned European tour of GROUNDATION once again. Some shows are already canceled due to the present COVID-19 situation. Unfortunately the conditions are still not met in order to tour for so long through so many countries:
> The rules of entry in European countries are different and they may change depending on the pandemic situation. Some countries could impose a quarantine or others measures to enter in, and it can’t be anticipated.
> The shows with standing crowds are still forbidden in certain countries, or could be forbidden between now and March depending on the situation.
The new club tour will be therefore postponed to October 11th through November 13th, 2022. If you have already bought tickets, you can contact the venue or the box office in order to know if the tickets are still valid.
However this sad new brings a good one!
As you were so numerous to buy tickets for the show in Paris (Cabaret Sauvage sold out since mid-December), this
show is therefore moved to theOlympia in Paris on Saturday, October 22, 2022! What’s better than this mythic
venue to welcome you all! See you there for an amazing album release show!

After recording the album in the USA alongside the legendary Jim Fox, specialist of analog recording (without computer), Harrison Stafford was in Jamaica to invite many reggae icons to appear on several titles: the singers ofIsraël Vibration, The Abyssinians, the CongosWhile waiting for the first notes, you can discover some pictures on GROUNDATION’s Facebook page.
This next opus will be realeased on 2022, you can listen it on stage in Europe as early as March 2022, particularly for an exceptionnal show in Paris, in the Cabaret Sauvage all renovated. The venue has increased its intimate mood, with its wood and velvet decor, while getting the first sound-proof tent of the world, with an incomparable acoustic. GROUNDATION looks forward to come because the band loves the city of Paris where it hasn’t played for 4 years, and because the parisian public is one of the first to support GROUNDATION since its beginnings!

Hard to describe what happened on September, 4th during the first show of DANAKIL ! What is certain is that this first date booked to celebrate the 20 years of career of the band went beyond the expectations of DANAKIL, the BACO MUSIC team, and obviously the audience because the atmosphere was incredible during the 2 hours show ! All the elemets were there : the concert was sold out for months, it was the first time that the Olympia open its doors after the long period of COVID, and the first show for a long time for many of us, an unmissable anniversary, fans and musicians over-motivated, great guests (Mike and Riké show of Sinsémilia, Clinton Fearon, Brahim, Théo and Ogach from Jahneration, Cheeko and Volodia, Balik’s father and Duss, former guitarist of the band…) ! A huge thank you to everbody who were there for your smiles, your energy, your voices, but also your support and your patience when the show was postponed and the capacity was reduced.
We stay on our little cloud and we expect to meet you again for the second round on September, the 25th, which promises to be as awesome as the first with a lot of new surprises to thrill you all along the evening and extend the 20 years together !

The beautiful weather has come and the gradual lifting of the sanitary measures is announcing the shy restart of the summer festivals and open air shows, after so long! Sharing times when party and music bring us together is the gist of the artist profession and this year without meeting you has been long. Our artists have spared no effort, each one·has thought about his projects, worked about new songs, albums, videoclips, live videos shows... and also thought about new shows!

For the foreign artists, it was more complicated to organize tours from this summer because of the uncertain conditions concerning the sanitary measures and also to cross borders, quarantines, etc. But GROUNDATION and PROTOJE will come back to Europe soon!

Despite the new protocols announced, we still don't know how the shows will be allowed to take place in fall 2022: which social distancing measures the venues should apply, what about the beverage sale and consumption, how should be controled the sanitary pass in France and the possibility for the prefectures to cancel the show until the D-day... Without forgetting the uncertainty to cross the borders and about the quarantine in each european country.
As you can imagine, a european tour must be organized several months before it starts, and it's financially balanced only if every tour date can take place.
Faced with this lack of informations, we are unfortunately forced to postpone again Groundation's tour right now, rather than risking a last minute cancelation of several dates or all the tour, which would imply a dramatic financial loss for our structure.
We are very sorry for all these inconveniences and we thank you again for your understanding and your support all along this complicated period! The tickets already bought are still valid for the new dates.

" SITUATIONS " is the new EP of TAÏRO, released on the label Frenchtown on April 2021. Released with 4 talented beatmakers, the music is strongly modern and oriented to the dancefloors. This project places great emphasis on women : a feminin guest features on each song (SARA LUGO, RIBABE, CAMILLE ESTEBAN, AMØ, CHRISTEL), and explores the relations in love games, couple, and sexuality. A new maxi to discover and also to watch because each song is the subject of a videoclip!

30 years anniversary ? 30 songs!!!
In the French musical landscape, SINSÉMILIA today is one of the most important band that its impressive palmares cannot sum up. If this band had earned such a reputation for three decades, it owes it first of all to its human dimension, cultivated with the same sincerity in the shadows as in the light, and which is reflected in its music. The formula, overs the years, has evolved while following the same guideline : to combine the colors and the spirit of Reggae Music, a major influence of SINSÉMILIA , with those of their personal culture, they who grew up in France and come from various backgrounds.
To celebrate this new anniversary which is looming in 2021, SINSÉMILIA first wanted to make their desires come true : new duet songs with friends like KOMLAN from DUB INC, remixes like the classic " Douanier " entrusted to MANUDIGITAL, revisited versions of old songs (“ Prendre le Temps », en duo avec TRYO, " Le Futur " with VANUPIÉ…), " Nourrissons nos cerveaux " with BALIK and GUIZMO)...
Throughout its history, which was largely written on stage during the 1300 concerts given across France and overseas, SINSÉMILIA has always known how to project itself into the present without cutting itself off from the past. But above all without repeating it.

After a long year without any shows, ans without any perspectives from the French government, DANAKIL DANAKIL and Baco Music decided to create a new online event to keep the link with you. The relation with our public is what give a sense to our jobs and we miss it as much as you!
For this time, we wanted to imagine an event as important as a “real” live show: it we be recorded in the wonderful venue of the Théâtre Fémina in Bordeaux. We also would like to take advantage of the video format, more intimist and original, to make you discover the backstage, to make you see new points of vue, to animate the show with a lot of surprises, to play several new songs of Danakil’s next album… we can’t tell you more to keep the mystery! DANAKIL At the Baco Studio and during a residency near Bordeaux at "La Maison," we wanted to take this approach further while waiting for warmer in-person reunions.
