BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Brussels, Pierre Mignon aka PEET made his name with the group Le 77 before going solo. A rapper, lyricist and beatmaker, PEET draws his inspiration from personal accounts, city setbacks and life stories. Inspired by ordinary people, PEET's lyrics reflect what he sees and hears, what he lives and feels. A witness to his generation, he lives resolutely with the times. Sensitive and authentic, he is one of the pillars of today's Belgian rap scene, and has begun his conquest of France!
While PEET rocks in the studio, his tours are also a resounding success. He is surrounded by a live band of talented musicians: VEEKO on drums (Swing, L'or du Commun, Scylla, Ichon...), NICOLAS FELICES on bass (Yseult, Camille Lellouche, Nemir), FERDI on saxophone (Sofiane Pamart, Dabeull, Ichon, Scylla) and JÉRÉMY DUMONT on piano, not forgetting his long-time companion MORGAN VAN DER GHINST on machines. Alongside them, he has performed at many renowned concert halls and festivals, including the Dour Festival, Les Ardentes, Les Francofolies de SPA, Couleur Café... In 2023, the rapper played to full houses in the French capital, for a double date at La Maroquinerie, as well as in the Belgian capital, at the Ancienne Belgique. In 2024, PEET released the album “À Demain”, on which he reveals a little-known facet of his universe, revealing his deep emotions with a resolutely endearing finesse of writing. “À DEMAIN” is like a good therapy between friends, a warm ballad that speaks to the common man, punctuated by ultra-quality feats (Caballero, Ben PLG, EleA, White Corbeau, Artÿ) that embellish his piquant, intoxicating and addictive touch! An album he and his team are currently defending on stage, including a sold-out date at La Cigale on November 23!
