Living legends of reggae, Israel Vibration & Roots Radics are back on the road with their « Reggae Music Never Dies » tour, celebrating more than five decades of music, faith, and resilience. The group continues to perform at some of the world’s leading reggae and world music festivals, including Lollapalooza (Chile), República do Reggae (Brazil), Reggae Lake (Netherlands), Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Reggae on the Rocks (USA), and Reggae Land (UK).
Israel Vibration has one of the most respected legacies in the history of reggae music. Since the 1970s, the group has performed on stages across every continent. Founders Lacelle “Wiss” Bulgin, Albert “Apple Gabriel” Craig, and Cecil “Skelly” Spence met at a rehabilitation center for people affected by polio in Jamaica and transformed their stories of overcoming adversity into an inspiration for millions. Their songs reflect their values, addressing liberation, faith, social justice, resilience, and the healing power of spirituality. The Roots Radics are an essential part of this legacy and one of the most influential backing bands in reggae history. Formed in Jamaica in the late 1970s, the band became synonymous with the powerful, precise, and deeply rooted sound that helped define modern roots reggae and dub. Their musicianship can be heard through their distinctive deep bass, tight drumming, and an unmistakable Jamaican groove. Their long-standing musical partnership with Israel Vibration has become one of the most respected collaborations in roots reggae. With the Roots Radics or individually, the musicians already played live and recorded with names such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, The Twinkle Brothers, Barrington Levy, and Yellowman, just to name a few. The tour takes its name from the group’s latest studio release, « Reggae Music Never Dies », an album that captures the very essence of Israel Vibration: spiritual messages, distinctive vocal harmonies, and the unmistakable weight of Jamaican reggae. With more than 20 studio and live albums, Israel Vibration is responsible for classics such as « The Same Song », «Strength of My Life », « Cool and Calm » et « Rudeboy Shufflin’ ». Their music continues to reach new generations, with the group having accumulated more than 300 million streams across digital platforms while maintaining a loyal fan base around the world. Recognized for their authenticity and spirituality, Israel Vibration & Roots Radics have performed in more than 60 countries. On stage, Lacelle “Wiss” Bulgin performs the band’s classic repertoire—including songs originally composed and recorded by Skelly and Apple (in memoriam), his former bandmates—alongside new material. Each performance is a true celebration of reggae culture, taking audiences on a profound and spiritual journey marked by contagious energy and the unmistakable sound and legacy of one of Jamaica’s most iconic formations.
