The term \"salsamuffin\" that he coined encapsulates the fusion of rumba, ska, reggae, dancehall, and Latin and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, all born from his research into the musical legacies of Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica, Colombia, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His political commitment, his clear stance in support of minorities, migran<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">s, and environmental protection, are central themes in his songs, some of which are anthems of resistance and courage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With no fewer than 9 albums and 3 successful EPs, including a nomination for the Victoires de la Musique and another at the Latin Grammys, he has marked numerous generations and become a reference for many artists. His timeless music has evolved with each project, from productions made at home with machines to recordings with a full band of musicians, dub versions created in his sailboat studio \"Guakamayo,\" live albums, and more.
